Summary

This article is intended to help explain the configuration fields necessary to link the account to Kyozou.  Paypal PRO is a service where you can accept credit cards on your eCommerce venue.  It bypasses the need for a buyer to have a Paypal account and can enter their credit card information directly into the checkout to pay for their order.

Task Requirements:

• Go to Administration> Control Panel> Step 8. From the available options on the right hand side, checkmark the option ‘Paypal Website Payments PRO & Express Checkout’ and click “Next Step”.

• You will be redirected to a screen with various sections (see image below). There are two sections you’ll notice and each one of them is highlighted in a different color. The “Red” section (at top) is filled with useful links that can give you useful information about Paypal Pro, rates, FAQ, etc. The second section in Green (at bottom) display the fields necessary to connect your Paypal PRO account into Kyozou.

The fields are explained below:

• Username – Enter the username of your Paypal PRO account.
• Password – Enter the password for your Paypal PRO account.
• API Signature – This information is found in your Paypal PRO account.  The screenshots below will help explain how to obtain this information.  This is mandatory to connect the accounts.

Click on the “Show” link for each setting (API Username, API Password and Signature) to view the value.

• Transaction Fee Rate (optional) – Specify the rate that Paypal charges you for each transaction.  This rate can be found in your Paypal Account.
• Additional Fee Rate (optional) – Here you can specify an additional fee rate you would like to charge.
• Max Card Charge (optional) – What is the maximum amount to the card for one transaction.
• Allow Different Ship To Address – Enabling this option will allow the buyer to specify a different shipping address than what is the billing address for the credit card.  This can be used in such instances as someone buying a birthday present for a friend.  They will be using their own credit card and have the item shipped to their friends.
• Validate phone number (optional) – Specify if you’d like to have the phone number associated with the card match the phone number placed in the order.
• For Shipped Orders (optional) – Specify if the service is for shipped orders as well.
• For Pickups (optional) – Specify if the service is for Pickup Orders as well.
• Offer Paypal Express Checkout (optional) – PayPal express is an option to bypass the eCommerce checkout. When a buyer clicks on the PayPal express button, it will take the buyer outside of your website to PayPal’s website to complete payment either by using their existing PayPal account or do a guest checkout with a Credit Card. Once payment is confirmed buyer will be directed back to your website which will display a confirmation message that the order was completed.
• Offer Paypal Website Payments PRO – This option should be checked to allow Credit Cards to be accepted via your ecommerce site.
